Itelis is one of the first in Slovenia to offer SAP solutions to companies in the SaaS model, which includes:

SAP solution implementation projects must be calculated and move within the prescribed time and budget framework. To this end, all our implementation projects are run in accordance with SAP ASAP 8 methodology and best practices. It is based on a disciplined project management approach, organizational changes and other activities carried out in the framework of the implementation of the SAP solution.

It works by adapting the prototype solution to existing needs and, on the basis of differences with each step, reducing it until the customer confirms the final version of the prototype solution. In the meantime, preparation and introduction are underway with well-defined tasks. While adapting the prototype, we place emphasis on knowledge transfer, education of people who will use the solution, and transfer of the parent data to the new information system.

After adapting the solution to the organizational structure and successfully educating users, the basic data is prepared for the transfer to the new system, and an integration test and a Go-live are carried out, whereby consultants provide support to users to work easily with the new solution.

01 Preparation of the project
During the preparation phase of the project, all preconditions are prepared for the successful organization of the project. All phase results are collected and presented to the company's management and the entire project team at the initial Kick Off meeting.

02 Blueprint
The purpose of this phase is to prepare a Business Blueprint, which is a detailed documentation of the results collected at the workshops for determining the requirements. During the design phase of Blueprint, we review the relevance of SAP business processes (standard functionality and good practice) in order to find deviations (GAP analysis) from the client's processes. The reasons for deviations from standard processes are most often the limitations of the existing information system or the current practice or the way processes are carried out according to user requirements and legislation. All deviations must be dealt with in project groups and conclusions regarding the implementation of processes in the new information solution must be drawn up, and in the case of reorganization of business processes, procedures for the implementation of these "change management" changes must be prepared.

03 Realization
In this phase, the system is configured according to the client's requirements as defined in the Blueprint phase. In this phase, the knowledge of the SAP consultants is also largely transferred to the members of the client's project team. System configuration is done in two work packages: basic configuration and final configuration.

04 Final preparation
In this phase, everything is prepared for the actual implementation of the system. The final preparation phase includes, among others, the following most important tasks:

  • Preparation and implementation of end-user training.
  • Improving system management.
  • Preparation of Go-live plan and production support.

05 Go-live & support
In this phase, end users are supported in their work and current issues are resolved. The go-live & support phase includes, among others, the following most important tasks:

  • Support for production,
  • Additional education,
  • Making long-term plans.

User support includes day-to-day help desk support in the use of solutions, solving and resolving problems of key users of the solution. Support at other levels includes customer requests for setting changes, program code changes, fixes, and changes to printouts and interfaces. Solution and system maintenance also includes troubleshooting errors due to misuse and software errors.

When implementing solutions, training of key users is carried out as part of the project, as the transfer of knowledge to the project team and active participation of client's key users is crucial for the success of the implementation project.

When the customer is already using the solution and there is a change of key users or functional changes to the solution, individual training of key and, if necessary, end users is carried out at the customer's request.

As a rule, the trainings are carried out at the customer's location, individually or in groups in individual areas, and according to the level of knowledge of the individual user.

For companies that do not want to invest in the purchase of hardware and software, in infrastructure, upgrade, maintenance of equipment and technologically qualified staff, we offer hosting services.

Hosting in the data center enables the client to secure a safe space, with all the necessary equipment, for the efficient operation of the services by renting a server location. The equipment is protected by the highest safety standards and is hinged by a high-performance Internet connection. In this way, the client directs its energy and knowledge to operations and not to information systems.

If the company does not have its own IT staff, we also offer highly qualified personnel for system administration and maintenance of SAP solutions in the context of outsourcing services, thus ensuring the rapid resolution of requirements and desires at lower costs.

We offer a hosting service together with sister company Unistar LC d.o.o., which has been on the market for more than 35 years and operates two centers that are more than 100 km away from each other. The primary location is located in the industrial and craft zone Litostroj in Ljubljana, where a data safe center – PRO.Cloud is established in the renovated premises, and the secondary one is located in the Port of Luka Koper.

SAP certified IBM Power9 servers are placed in two separate locations. The locations are connected to each other at high speed and two separate paths. The hardware running SAP Hana or S/4Hana are IBM Power9 dedicated systems. The server is customized and manufactured dedicated to the optimal operation of SAP HANA. Built-in PowerVM virtualization ensures optimal hardware usage by using a shared processor pool (SHARED PROCESSOR POOL).

The IBM Power9 servers have the best "RAS" system in the industry and without additional software for high availability, they provide 99.99% (52.56min)-99.999% (5.26min) percent availability at the annual level. The layout allows seamless movement of functioning virtual servers between systems and, if necessary, between locations due to increased fault resistance and faster deployment in the event of a catastrophe.

IBM Power9 servers allow for a high degree of load consolidation due to the unique virtualization of processors, memory, and I/O subsystems. SAP Tailored Datacenter Phase5 allows flexibility in CPU/MEMORY configuration for SAP S/4 HANA.
